Grocery Deals -- 6/4-6/10 JEWEL-OSCO

Every week Jewel keeps highlighting some of the prices it's dropped (for everyday, not sale prices), and I have to say some impressed me. Like today, they say they have dropped a dozen eggs from $2.19 to 99 cents. Which reminds me of something else I'll talk about later today: Taking advantage of the suddenly lower prices for eggs and dairy to upgrade to better products.

For now, let's look at the Jewel deals.

2-Day Meat Sale, Thurs and Fri. only. All prices are for packs of 3 lbs. or more:
Jewel boneless skinless chicken breasts or bottom round roast or steak $1.99/lb.
center cut pork rib or loin chops $2.48/lb.

All week:
Dannon yogurt cups 50 cents (this is actually getting to be a normal price for yogurt cups with the falling cost of dairy)
Perdue 93% lean ground turkey bogo @ $3.99
Tyson bacon, 16 oz., bogo @ $5.49
Pepsi product 2 Liters $1 (use Sierra Mist bogo printable, no longer available, to get them for 50 cents each)
Crystal Farms chunk cheese, 8 oz., bogo @ $3.79
Minute Maid lemonade, limeade or fruit punch bogo @ $2.49
Old Orchard Healthy Balance juice, 64 oz., bogo @ $3.49 (use $1/2 from the 5/10 SmartSource to get them for $1.25 each)
Jewel Choice Beef stew meat $2.49/lb.
Dole whole pineapple $2.99
12 ct. package glazed donuts $2.99
Egg Innovations Cage Free, Omega 3 or Vegetarian Eggs, dozen $2.50
Bumble Bee chunk light tuna, 5 oz. 79 cents
Eight O'Clock Coffee, 12-13 oz., $4.99 (use $1/2 from 5/17 SmartSource or $1/1 from inside bags)
