Grocery Deals -- 5/28-May 3 DOMINICK'S/SAFEWAY

Like Jewel, not much at Dominick's this week. Which is why I'm going to TJs.
This week Dominick's has a new gimmick: "combo deals." You have to buy two different items to get the price. Some of the deals are pretty good:
64-oz. Mott's apple juice + Keebler Chips Deluxe cookies (14.5-18 oz.) for $2.99
Safeway bacon, 12-16 oz., + a dozen Lucerne large eggs for $2.99
1 lb. straw berries + angel food cake for $3.99
1 pt. blueberries $3.99
REGULAR DEALS
1 pt. grape tomatoes 99 cents
gallon Lucerne milk $1.69, limit 2 (that's the best price I've seen in, maybe ever. and Lucerne is hormone-free.)
cherries $2.98/lb. (alas, I learned that cherries should be bought organic)
Rancher's Reserve top sirloin $3.77/lb. (use the $5/$15 meat coupon if Dominick's mailed you one)
Safeway donuts 25 cents
Kraft cheese, 6-8 oz. $1.99 (use $1/1 printable on the 2% variety to get it for a buck)
Lucerne yogurt cups 50 cents
Edy's Fruit Bars $3.50 (use $1/2 from 4/26 SmartSource to get them for $3 each)
Coupon matchups from Hot Coupon World.
