Wednesday Store Flyers - Misc Deals

Aldi is offering 6-inch Gerbera's in colored tins that look really nice for $5.99, starting Thursday. I want some for our moms for Easter! Aldi is also showing a bunch of other garden stuff including rose bushes. And hams for 99 cents-$2.99/lb., and $1.99 pineapples, and 79 cents for 8 oz. of cream cheese. That's the best cream cheese deal I've seen in a long time.
Famous Liquors, with 2 Forest Park locations, is advertising Miller Lite, GD or MGD 64 12-packs (bottles) for $6.99. Since I usually keep some of this around for my dad, I know that's a darn good deal. Other promising beer deals: two 12-packs of Pilsner Urquell for $10.99 each, or a 12-pack of Sierra Nevada for $12.99. When I am not pregnant I heartily enjoy both those quality brands.
Wine is of course hard to price, but they are advertising a Lindemans 2006 chardonnay for $2.99 as a "crazy low price." Let me know if you try it, k? I'm always looking for a good wine under $3.

For $3/bottle - I'll cook w/ it if it isn't drinkable. Or make sangria.

Well, you can always get Charles Shaw wine at Trader Joe's for $2.99, and some of it is quite drinkable.

Student: Yes, but you also get to live in Canada. You probably get a pretty good deal as a student, right? And if you have a kid, you'll get a year of parental leave, right? And hey, even if you are under 21 you can legally drink those expensive bottles and 12-packs, right?
