Grocery Deals -- 4/16-4/22 DOMINICK'S/SAFEWAY

It is after 9 p.m. and I am just starting to type up the grocery deals. Been that kind of busy day around here. I've been doing some freelance writing and am also meeting with some folks about possible future bloggy developments. I'll let you know here if anything comes of it. :-)
The grocery deals are kinda thin this week, which is fine with me because I wanted to go to Trader Joe's anyway (in fact I already went today).
Dominick's is offering some "Budget Stretchers for Tax Day," but I'm a little confused because it doesn't say "April 15 Only." Since this flyer isn't supposed to be effective until April 16, I'm gonna assume the deals are good all week. There is Kraft Mac & Cheese for 59 cents a box, limit 4; 10 lbs. navel oranges for $4.88, frozen HoneySuckle turkey breast for 99 cents/lb., and Brownberry bread $2.

The rest of the flyer:
General Mills Trix (10.7 oz.) or Golden Grahams (12 oz.) $1.88
Chef Boyardee canned pasta $1
Breyers 1.5-quart ice cream $3 (use .75/1 from 4/5 Unilever insert)
Activia 4-pack $2.50 (If Fiber variety included, use $1/1 Activia Fiber from 3/1 SmartSource)
1 lb. Eating Right baby carrots 98 cents

Spend $30, get $10 Coupon Offer -- Dominick's "Catalina" deals are usually based on the card price, not the pre-card price, so expect to spend $30 whole dollars on this deal minus only your coupons. That said, it could be a decent deal because it says there are 3,000 items involved; look for a booklet in store listing them all. It runs through 5/5. A few from the ad:
Skippy PB 15-16.3 oz. $2.50, 18-oz. Cheerios $2.99, Healthy Choice meals $1.99, Cottonelle 12-pack $6.49, Green Works Natural Cleaners $3 (use Buy 2, Get 1 coupon from Jewel's Earth Day insert, also out today; and/or .50/1 printable, or $1/2 from 3/29 RedPlum)
Fri, Sat and Sun. only: Aqua Star 1 lb. raw or cooked shrimp, $5
Finally, there's a coupon inside today's flyer for a free reusable bag with $50 purchase.
