Walgreens Is My Kryptonite

I don't know what it is, but whenever I try to do a Walgreen's deal, something goes wrong. I have vowed multiple times before to just not bother. But then a few months later, something comes up and I think, Oh, just one quick trip to Walgreen's.
Tonight after the kids were in bed I thought I'd drive to my local Wags, about half a mile away, to make use of those Nature Valley coupons I'd bought before they -- and the monthly deal that would make the bars free -- expired. I also saw that people were getting free aluminum foil from a weekly deal, so I thought, nice.
I got over there quickly, the things I wanted were in stock, put two transactions' worth in my cart, great. Except I left my coupons sitting on my desk at home. I know, I could have just bought the stuff and brought in the coupons later, but I didn't want to take the risk that someone would give me trouble about the coupons or something. Besides, they were expiring today.
On the upside, I stopped at Jewel on the way back and spent one dime, two nickels and three pennies for eight boxes of microwave popcorn, with the ConAgra Catalina. Gotta love that.
