Planning My Next $30 CVS Run - updated w/ Neutrogena

OK, already the wheels are turning here since I got that $5/$30 for my husband's card. Here's a plan, which would get me $32 worth of stuff, which CVS would pay me $2.50 to buy. I don't want or need any of this stuff, but, what the hell. I'll donate most of it.

$10 of CVS brand stuff
(free antiseptic mouthwash $2.79, paper towels 2.50, 2 cotton balls $4 (2ECBs), ?.71 cents)
$8 Gamer razor (4ECB)
$8 2 packs Stayfree pads (4ECB)
$6 2 Colgate toothpaste (6ECB)
--------------------------------
$32

MINUS

$5/$30 CVS Q $5
$2/$10 CVS brand Q $2
$1/1 CVS skin care Q $1
$1/1 CVS towels $1
$4/1 Gillette razor $4
bogo Stayfree $4
$1/1 Colgate $1
$1.50/1 Colgate $1.50
----------------------------
18.50

spend $13.50, get 16 ECBs
cost = earn $2.50

I just have to wait until my All You magazine shows up with a new $1.50/1 Colgate Q. I sure hope my daughter's preschool can find some craft ideas for cotton balls.

UPDATE: OK, that deal was fine, but then I saw this morning on MSM that Neutrogena bars ($2.99) are included in the "buy 2, get 10ECB" deal this week. So if you buy 2 of those, you spend $6 and get 10ECB back! I'm going to add that in to the deal, except I'm also gonna try to get some baby sun care stick for my little ones' faces this summer:

$2.99 Neutrogena bar
7.35 Neutrogena facial sunblock (10ecb)
10.00 CVS brand products
8.00 Gamer razor (4ecb)
3.00 Colgate toothpaste (3ecb)
--------------------------------
31.34

MINUS
$5/$30 CVS Q $5
$2/$10 CVS brand Q $2
$1/1 CVS skin care Q $1
$1/1 CVS towels $1
$4/1 Gillette razor $4
$1/1 Colgate $1
-------------------------
$14
31 - 14 = PAY $17, RECEIVE $17

I like this deal better because I'm actually getting an item I want, and I can always do the Stayfree (free) and second Colgate (moneymaker) later.
