It's Co-ming... Chicago Western Suburbs Consignment Sale

My favorite event of the year, the Parenthesis consignment sale. It will be Saturday, March 14, at 405 S. Euclid Ave., Oak Park.
I've written about techniques for getting the most bargains this of a consignment sale here, and showed off my $64 haul here, and my $70 haul here.
This year, I am extra excited to hit the maternity racks. Since I have never been big pregnant in the summer before, I have very little to wear come June (and, if still pregnant, July). Maternity clothes are very expensive, but at this sale they go for very little. In fact, I will be able to get a whole trash bag of the stuff for $5 at the end of the sale. Can't beat that!
Also, if you live in the area and want to sell clothes, pick up a labeling kit at the same address. They will give you half the take. I can't say that you will get top dollar for your things -- if you have good condition, name brand items you would do better on EBay. However, it's a lot easier than selling on EBay and the other half goes to a very good cause.
And, if you just want to get rid of your kids' outgrown clothes without going through the work, they will PICK IT UP for you! Details on the Web site.

Carrie,
This is awesome! Thanks for the heads-up. I am marking my calender now.

Note: the link to the $64 haul isn't working for me.

Take care!
