About 8 Cents a Diaper

I was able to buy 6 packs of Pampers today using the P&G Catalina deal as well as a $5 off baby products deal which I read about here. After coupons (I had three $1.50 off from cereal boxes and three $1 off from the December P&G insert) and the Catalinas I got back, I spent $17.90 for 210 pieces of future landfill stuffing, I mean Size 3 disposable diapers. That's 8.5 cents a diaper, which is pretty phenomenal.

What I can confirm from my experience:

1) Both deals work. Each time I bought 3 packs of diapers, I got $20 worth of Catalinas.

2) I had no problem rolling the cats. The $5 for buying baby products can only be spent on other baby stuff. I paid for the second group of 3 diapers with the first $20 in coupons (plus $9.70 cash).

2) The diapers ring up as $12.49 before preferred card savings, and $10 sale price. I take that to mean that they are Jewel items and not Osco items, which usually credit you only for the sale price when you're going for a $30 threshhold. I spent $30, more than I would have needed to to get the $15 in P&G cats, because I needed to spend $25 to get the $5 baby cat.

Oh, and by the way, I now have receipts saying I've spent more than $50 on Pampers, a P&G product. So I can mail in the receipts and get a P&G coupon book using the form found here. The coupons included are all for $1 and up, including a few for $2 off Pampers, so it seems worth a stamp to me.

Purchase $50 worth of ANY P&G products between 12/14/2008 and 1/31/2009.

You only have to send in $50 worth of receipts to get the P&G coupons. :)

Made me look twice, because I sent mine in yesterday with $50 receipts. I have been running this cat deal all week - our Shaw's has it on lots of things I use; fiber one bars, cereal, etc...

Thanks Daria! Now corrected. I was looking at that "$120 worth of coupons" part.

Nice shop!

Do you know how long this diaper deal is going on?
