Grocery Deals -- Dominick's 11/11 - 11/17

Is it just me, or is the price of cheese going down? This is like, the third week in a row that I've noticed cheese on sale for less than $4 a pound, and this week -- again -- it's the Lucerne cheese at Dominick's (Safeway), which is hormone free.

Lucerne shredded or chunk cheese, 32 oz. $5.99

Safeway Select ice cream, 1.75-qt., bogo @ $5.99

Pepsi, Mountain Dew, etc. 12-packs, buy 2 get THREE at $6 each
(pay $12, get 5, or $2.40 each)

5.6 ounces blackberries, $1.88

pork chops, $1.49 a pound

boneless beef chuck rib roast or steak, $1.99 a pound

Safeway marshmallows (16 oz.) $1

Safeway evaporated milk (12 oz) $1

bartlett pears, $1/lb.

"Buy 5, Save $5 Sale" (all prices good only if you buy 5, mix and match)

Pop Tarts, 12 count, $1.49
(use .55/1 or $1/2 from 11/9 RedPlum and get them for 95 cents-$1 each)

Other items included in the sale are Special K Red Berries (12 oz) for $1.99, Eggo Syrup for $1.99, Smart Start (17.5-oz) for $1.88, Mini-Wheats (18 oz.) for $1.49, Rice Krispies Treats (8-ct) for $1.79.
