Money Saving Tip ... If You're a Restaurant

I was reading a little ad for a local Polish smorgasbord when I noticed this warning:

"Any food left uneaten will be wrapped to be taken home and charged at the carry out price."

Sheesh! That's pretty hard core; I wonder if it's even legal. I mean, if you go into a restaurant, you should know how much you're going to end up paying, and not worry that you're going to be charged a fee at the end of the night for having eyes bigger than your stomach.

I have a feeling it's an empty threat just to discourage people from taking too much, but still... I don't think I'll be going there, despite the "free drink" promised in the ad.

Crazy! I've never heard of that before. I wouldn't patronize that restaurant.
