Grocery Deals -- Safeway/Dominick's, 10/23 - 10/29

NEW PRESCRIPTION GIFT CARD OFFER! I'm so glad I've been procrastinating bringing in my scrips! You'll find this "voucher" on the back page of this week's flyer:

"Bring a NEW OR transferred prescription and this voucher to your Dominick's Pharmacy and get a $30 Dominick's gift card." Expires 11/30.

Updated to add: Reader Mandy points out that if your CVS takes competitor pharmacy coupons (mine does), you can get THIRTY BUCKS there instead of $25. But I wonder how they would do that -- are those gift cards they give out pre-set at $25, or can they just load $30 onto it? And another update: I drove by a Walgreen's today and noticed they are also offering prescription transfer gift cards. I think they said $25.

Note: if brand is not mentioned, it's a Safeway brand.

You might want to check with your local CVS, but mine has a big sign up that they will accept pharmacy coupons from other stores!!!
