The Glade Scented Oil Warmer Catalina at Dominick's (Safeway)

After reading about the great Catalina deal going on at many stores, including Safeway, I dropped by the air freshener section to price them at my local Dominick's today. I was disappointed.

The deal is, you buy a Glade SCENTED OIL WARMER, and you get a $4 Catalina. What makes it potentially great is that there are bogo coupons in the 9/28 SmartSource. I think I have 5 of these coupons, so if the warmers were priced around $4 or less as reported elsewhere, I could make $24 in Catalinas from an initial $4 out of pocket expense -- a $20 profit.

However, the warmers at my store were priced at $6. :-( I guess I'll keep an eye out for them at other stores. I don't really want to go back to KMart for the deal, since I would have trouble finding anything there for $20 that we need. I may try at Pick N Save next time we visit my parents in Wisconsin, or at Kroger's Food4Less if I happen to be in the area.

On the bright side, there were signs promising the $4 at checkout, so it's good to know the Catalina deal is offered there. They also had signs offering a $2 Catalina for two scented oil refills.

By the way, I picked up approximately one zillion coupons for $2/1 Glade Scented Oil CANDLE HOLDERS, but I'm assuming these won't work for the Catalina deal. I'm assuming you cannot use these for the scented oil warmers that are paying the Catalina, because they don't say the word "candle" on them.

But when I finally do buy some of these oil warmers, I will try using the $2/1 along with the bogo coupon to see if I can get away with it. And, dear readers, I will report back to you.
