Don't Miss America's Thriftiest Family on Oprah -- TODAY NOT THURSDAY

UPDATE -- I don't know what happened, but this episode is on today, not Thursday. I am so sorry if you missed it due to my post! I'm hoping that since it is not on at 9 a.m. for everyone you still have time to adjust your Tivo. Sorry!

I am definitely making a date with my TV Thursday morning to watch Oprah: She's featuring a family billed as "America's Thriftiest Family." They'll show how this tightwad family spends $4 on family dinners and the like. Then, it looks like they'll turn the family loose on some people who are struggling financially to help the strugglers make over their spending life.

And then, let's see, there was going to be some other kind of thrift tips. I guess you'll just have to wait until Thursday to find out what they are going to be because danged if I can remember what the promo said.

Okay, will set DVR. Thanks for the heads-up. I am addicted to any Oprah dealing with lifestyles and spending, ever since they showed this woman in Orange County who was deeply in debt because she paid to have all these tacky murals painted in her house. Like with leopards and palm trees.

Yeah, those are the ones I like too. I can not watch enough reruns of the woman with all that crap in her house. I think that might be my favorite episode ever. There are other episodes that are quite compelling to me, but I usually end up crying to hard to actually say I enjoy them -- you know, about suffering little children and stuff.
