CVS: Ho Hum

I'm still pretty unenthused about CVS, what with the lack of x/xx coupons (although I will be looking for this blue book in-store for a $3/$15). Still, I'll do a few transactions:

4 Soy Joy bars $4 (4ECB)
2 BicComfort3 Advanced Shavers (4-pk) 10 (8ECB)
------------------------------------------------------
- 2 (Soy Joy $2/3 mq from 9/7 SmartSource)
4 (two $2/1 Bic mq from 9/14 and 10/12)
----
8, get 12ECBs

2 WellPatch 12 (12ECB)
----------------------------------------------
12, get 12 (there is a $1/1 in the 7/13 SS, but I already used it)

Hi Carrie!
I'm so excited - I went to CVS this morning, and they were out of the razors (bummer, but they were pretty sure they would get some on the truck this afternoon) and when I scanned my card, a $5 of $30 coupon printed!!! Since I am getting a prescription filled that will be $20 (with a $30 gift card coupon from Safeway!), I'll buy the razors at the same time and use my coupon! I had to share my joy with someone who would understand!

Hi Mandy -- I'm so glad to hear that $5/$30s are printing! I don't know if you'll be able to use it w/ your scrip -- maybe since the $5 could be counted off the non-pharmacy part of the purchase. Let me know!

Ooh yeah, I forgot to mention this in my shopping post for the week. My card printed out a $5/30, which was great for doing that baby deal last week. Maybe this week it could be used on all that cold and flu stuff.

My local CVS does matching on Wags' transfer/new script $25 coupons for gift cards! Just an FYI

Hey Carrie - So, my CVS didn't get any more razors in. And you're right, the coupon can't be used on the scripts. At least the manager said I could have $4 off any other razors so I picked up the cheaper BIC 3's for free, and my free bags of Hershey Bliss that I won a coupon for a couple of weeks ago. The coupon for the free bag specifies a limit of $3.99, and they are $4.79 at CVS, but it all came out in a wash by using the $5 coupon...Not the greatest of CVS trips, but oh well.
